Late last week, we began delivering free, custom “Take Out” signs to 18 local restaurants in Antigo, WI to help them promote business during the unprecedented crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“If you love them and you want them to be around later, you need to support them now,” said our President & CEO Steve Friend about local businesses. “This is our home and this community has supported us for years. We wanted to do our part to try to give back. We hope that something as simple as a custom sign in the window promoting “Take Out” to keep these businesses going can help.”
Each of the signs, featuring the words “Take Out” and the restaurant’s phone number, were built at our manufacturing plant on Deleglise Street in Antigo, Wisconsin, where workers from this community have been making custom neon signs for more than 30 years. Then, our team member Tami Anderson hand delivered each one of them to restaurants
throughout the community.
“Antigo Zeon delivered this (sign) last Friday. WOW!!! I am so very grateful for this beautiful sign.” Tanya Selden of Sweet Thyme posted on the restaurant’s Facebook page. “Tami, it was nice to meet you and I appreciate the personal interest you took to make sure that it worked perfectly for Sweet Thyme.”
We are so happy to be able to do this for our community to help businesses stay open and not go dark. By helping each other out, we all have the benefit of a brighter tomorrow.
